“The interplay between biological and psychological factors in determining vulnerability to mental disorders.”

“Exciting progress has been made in understanding the interaction between our genetic constitution and social environments that either allow genes to manifest themselves in the phenotype, or suppress them altogether. It is now possible to describe the biology of secure attachment, and describe physiological changes that accompany secure attachment.”
